Madagascar Vanilla Essential Oil

A perennial climbing vine that grows up to 75 feet long, Vanilla planifolia is a member of the orchid family, with yellow-white flowers that produce odorless bean pods. These blooms must be hand-pollinated, and it takes three to four years for the plant to begin producing beans. The beans are also harvested by hand before undergoing a time-consuming, labor-intensive process to fully develop their aroma and flavor.

Afterward, the beans are ground into small pieces and subjected to pressurized CO2 in a two-step extraction process that captures the beans’ aromatic constituents in an absolute. We combine this absolute with Fractionated Coconut Oil to create Madagascar Vanilla.

Fill your home with comforting magic by adding Madagascar Vanilla to a favorite diffuser blend. Sweeten your morning coffee, tea, or smoothie with its delightfully smooth flavor. Use it as a captivating personal fragrance or add it to bath oils or body lotions to enjoy an exquisite aroma.

Uses

Directions for Use

Aromatic Use: Place three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.

Internal Use: Add one drop to a beverage.

Topical Use: Apply one to two drops to the desired area. Dilute with a carrier oil to minimize any skin sensitivity.
